49 Deputy Denis Naughten asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will publish the independent evaluation which has been completed into a centre (details supplied) in County Roscommon; the provisions which are being made for the existing staff; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The report prepared by the independent evaluators contains personal and commercially sensitive information and was not intended for general publication in its current format. However, the consultants have been asked to provide a version for general publication which I expect will be available to me shortly, making it possible to publish it on my Department's website early next week.
The Probation Service will work with the Board of Management to effect the orderly closure of the project in its present form including redundancy payments to staff paid out of Service funding.
