75 Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform when an application for family reunification will be concluded in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [35352/08]
Amharc ar fhreagraAn application for Family Reunification was received in June 2007 from the person in question on behalf of his wife. The application was forwarded to the Refugee Applications Commissioner for investigation as required under section 18 of the Refugee Act 1996. This investigation is completed and the Commissioner has forwarded a report to my Department. The application will be considered by my Department and a decision will issue within the next four weeks.
