90 Deputy Ciarán Lynch asked the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs if he will confirm that persons appointed to positions under the Dormant Accounts Acts were appointed in accordance with the regulations set out in these Acts; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraAppointments to the Dormant Accounts Board are governed by the requirements set out in the Dormant Accounts Acts 2001-2005. The Acts provide that the Board will consist of a chairperson and 10 ordinary members with the necessary knowledge of, and experience relating to, the purposes for which disbursements are made from the Dormant Accounts Fund.
I am satisfied that the appointments made by me to the Board are in accordance with the provisions of the Dormant Accounts Acts 2001-2005.
