555 Deputy Seán Sherlock asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will investigate a situation whereby a person (details supplied) in County Cork can no longer access adult education services which their family has been informed is due to Heath Service Executive cutbacks; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The pupil referred to by the Deputy, in the details supplied, has been granted a school transport service for one additional year. Bus Éireann, which operates the school transport scheme on behalf of my Department, has advised that this transport commenced on 20th October 2008.
