Durkan asked the Minister for Health and Children the action she has taken to address the need for speech and language therapy throughout north Kildare; the schools in most need of such support; the action taken or proposed to address this issue in the short, medium or long term; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Accordingly, my Department has requested the Parliamentary Affairs Division of the Executive to arrange to have this matter investigated and to have a reply issued directly to the Deputy.
