184 Deputy Paul Kehoe asked the Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism the number of people he and his Ministers of State have appointed to work with them; the number located in their constituency offices and in their Department; the responsibility of each; the rank, salary scale and name in each case; if they are elected to city, county, town or borough councils;if they are members of State boards; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Since my appointment as Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism I have appointed 4 staff to work with me. Three of these staff are located at my constituency office in Waterford. My Special Adviser (Press) is located at the Department's headquarters in Dublin and carries out duties as set out in Section 11 of the Public Service Management Act. The other staff carry out general secretarial and administrative duties including the handling of inquiries made to the constituency office.
