299 Deputy Michael Creed asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details provided) in County Cork will be called for an out-patient appointment regarding an orthopaedic problem; when this person will subsequently be offered an appointment for surgery; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The management of out-patient waiting lists is a matter for the HSE and the individual hospitals concerned. I have, therefore, referred the Deputy's question to the Executive for direct reply.

300 Deputy Joe Costello asked the Minister for Health and Children if her attention has been drawn to the fact that a person (details supplied) in Dublin 7 is waiting for a back injury operation in the Mater Hospital for some considerable time; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
