409 Deputy Jimmy Deenihan asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government the date he signed off on the draft guidelines for planning authorities on the planning system and flood risk management; the date he announced these guidelines to the media and the public; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I approved and issued draft Guidelines for Planning Authorities on the Planning System and Flood Risk Management for public consultation on 23 September 2008.
