Ceist:122 Deputy Jack Wall asked the Minister for Health and Children the position regarding a date for a hip replacement operation in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Kildare in view of the fact that two earlier appointments have been cancelled; if this person is entitled to have the operation carried out under the National Treatment Purchase Fund scheme; if so, if this aspect will be investigated and be favourably resolved in view of the fact that the applicant has serious problems in accessing any sector of their home or having a normal social life outside of it, due to their condition; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
