308 Deputy Joe Carey asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government if funding has been provided to complete the Ennis-Clarecastle main drainage scheme in County Clare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14699/09]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe Ennis /Clarecastle Sewerage Scheme is included for funding in my Department's Water Services Investment Programme 2007 — 2009. My Department has approved, subject to certain amendments, Clare County Council's brief for the appointment of consultants to prepare tender documents for the scheme, and it is now a matter for the Council to arrange to have these documents drawn up.
