676 Deputy Seán Connick asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will reverse a decision not to give sanction to a school (details supplied) in County Wexford to operate a post leaving certificate course during the 2009-2010 academic year; and if he will make a statement on the matter. An appeal against a decision to refuse sanction to operate PLC courses was received from the school referred to by the Deputy. Following consideration of the appeal, the application was approved on 15 April 2009 and 24 PLC places were sanctioned.
