324 Deputy John Perry asked the Minister for Social and Family Affairs if there are temporary clerical officers being recruited in her Department offices in the Sligo-north Leitrim region for the summer 2009 period; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [19637/09]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe Department is currently in the process of recruiting temporary Clerical Officers in various parts of the State, including the Sligo/North Leitrim area, to cover the absence of permanent staff availing of term time leave during the summer months. In the Sligo/North Leitrim area, the temporary Clerical Officers will be appointed from a panel of suitable candidates established in 2007, following a competitive process. This panel of temporary Clerical Officers is valid for a period of 3 years from its establishment.
