211 Deputy Tom Sheahan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if the recently published Sea Fisheries and Maritime Jurisdiction (Fixed Penalty Notice) (Amendment) Bill 2009 has been brought to his attention; his views on the Bill; and if he will make a statement on the matter. This Bill has been brought to my attention. As there are significant legal issues arising in the first instance I am arranging for the Attorney General to examine and advise in advance of the Government taking a position.
