257 Deputy Brian O’Shea asked the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food when the compensation due under the pigmeat recall scheme will be awarded to a company (details supplied) in County Waterford; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26582/09]
Amharc ar fhreagraThere is an applicant awaiting payment under the Pigmeat Recall Scheme whose name and address approximate to that supplied by the deputy. My officials are currently scrutinizing the company's response to a number of queries raised by my Department. I expect that claims that have been found to be proper and appropriate will be paid before the end of July.
