Amharc ar fhreagraA social welfare Appeals Officer has upheld the decision of a community welfare officer to refuse payment of rent supplement on the grounds that total household income is deemed to be sufficient to meet the accommodation costs of the persons concerned.
The Appeals Officer is satisfied that the means assessment, as carried out by the community welfare officer, is in accordance with relevant social welfare legislation.
