Durkan asked the Minister for Education and Science the position in relation to the construction of additional classrooms under the permanent accommodation scheme; when same will be completed at a school (details supplied) in County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraIn 2007 the school in question received approval to build additional classrooms under the devolved Permanent Accommodation Scheme (PAS) and a grant on this basis was approved. The Board of Management was subsequently approved extra funding in relation to additional costs arising on the project. The project is under construction at present.
