814 Deputy Finian McGrath asked the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs the amount of rural development funding paid out here in the years 2006, 2007 and 2008; the proportion of this money which went to County Mayo; the bodies administering these funds; and the proportion of the funding administered by each body. Within my Department, the main programmes delivering rural development funding include the CLÁR Programme, the Rural Social Scheme and the LEADER Programmes (now part of the Rural Development Programme 2009-2013).

The funding provided under these programmes, both nationally and for County Mayo for the years in question, is set out in the following tables:
