Ceist:

351 Deputy Joan Burton asked the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources if his Department is taking part in the cycle to work scheme or plans to do so in the near future; the agencies and bodies under the aegis of his Department taking part in the cycle to work scheme and those which are not; and the impact the implementation of decentralisation will have on participation in the scheme. My Department has been operating the cycle-to-work scheme since June 2009. Participation in the scheme is not affected by decentralisation. Staff in our decentralised office in Cavan are also entitled to avail of the scheme. I have no function in relation to the operation of the scheme in agencies and bodies under the aegis of my Department.
