468 Deputy Olivia Mitchell asked the Minister for Defence the number of officials at principal officer level or higher, in both absolute terms and as a percentage of total staff, who are expected to be working in his Department following full implementation of the incentivised early retirement scheme. Amharc ar fhreagraThe number of officials in my Department at Principal Officer level or higher is 16.5 (full-time equivalent). This represents 4.6% of the total number of staff. The closing date for applications under the Incentivised Scheme of Early Retirement has been extended to 23 October 2009. The impact of the Scheme will be assessed after that date
