131 Deputy Billy Timmins asked the Minister for Health and Children the position regarding a matter (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. [45099/09]
Amharc ar fhreagraAs of the 27th October 2009, new entrants to long-term nursing home care can only avail of financial support under the Nursing Homes Support Scheme. Individuals who were in long-term nursing home care prior to that date can retain their existing arrangements or they can apply for the new scheme.
132 Deputy Denis Naughten asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of persons approved in each primary, community and continuing care area under the fair deal scheme in November 2009; the number of persons already resident in a nursing home in each case; the number of applications pending in each PCCC; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
