349 Deputy Ruairí Quinn asked the Minister for Education and Science the number of primary and post-primary schools that applied for water conservation funding under the 2010 summer works scheme; the breakdown on a county basis; the name, address and roll number of each school; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraThe closing date for the receipt of applications under the Summer Works Scheme 2010, including Water Conservation measures, was 27 November 2009. In excess of 2,300 applications were received and these are currently being sorted and logged in my Department. I will be in a position to provide a breakdown of the applications, as requested by the Deputy, when the sorting and logging is complete.
