106 Deputy John O’Mahony asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of reports and task forces set up and commissioned in her Department in 2007, 2008 and 2009; the reason for each report; the number of reports completed; and the cost of each in tabular form; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Between January 2007 and April 2009, a total of 28 reports were commissioned by my Department, of which 25 have been completed. The information requested by the Deputy concerning costs and the reason for these reports is set out as follows. Information in respect of the period May to December 2009 is currently being collated by my Department and will be forwarded to the Deputy as soon as it becomes available.
