176 Deputy Martin Ferris asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the number of arrests made for drug related offences in County Kerry from 2007 to 2009 inclusive; the number of convictions for the same offence; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2671/10]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe Garda Síochána Act 2005 makes provision for the compilation and publication of crime statistics by the Central Statistics Office (CSO), as the national statistical agency, and the CSO has established a dedicated unit for this purpose. I have asked the CSO to provide the statistics sought by the Deputy directly to him.
