200 Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the position regarding the case of a person (details supplied) in County Carlow; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2883/10]
Amharc ar fhreagraI have been informed by the Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service (INIS) of my Department that, to date, they have not received an application from the person referred to in the Deputy's Question. If this person has resided legally in the State for five years on work permit conditions they may apply to their local immigration officer to have their permission to remain in the State renewed.
