Brendan Howlin
Ceist:322 Deputy Brendan Howlin asked the Minister for Social and Family Affairs if, in relation to an application for a non-contributory State pension in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Wexford, the social welfare officer that was endeavouring to clarify the person’s income by seeking farm accounts from the applicant’s accountant did in fact do so; if not, if a new means assessment by reference to farm accounts will be arranged in this case; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
