261 Deputy Seán Sherlock asked the Minister for Defence if the dispute (details supplied) in County Cork regarding the transfer of land in his Department’s ownership has been resolved; the position regarding same; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7040/10]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe property in question is surplus to military requirements and my Department is in the process of disposing of its interest in the property to the stakeholders on site. A dispute has arisen with one such stakeholder that may take some time to resolve and as a result the disposal of all the sites has been delayed. However, my Department will continue to work to bring the matter to an early conclusion and, where possible, will proceed with the disposal of the remaining sites.
