425 Deputy Arthur Morgan asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government the number of posts unfilled in his Department because of the embargo on recruitment; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10290/10]
Amharc ar fhreagraMy Department is operating within an authorised staffing complement which is provided for in an Employment Control Framework covering the period 2010 to 2012 and agreed between the Department of Finance and my Department. The staffing target for the Department at end 2012 is 1,160. At 31 January, 2010, my Department employed 1,200 staff.
