79 Deputy Enda Kenny asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the position regarding the retirement of personnel (details supplied) from a Garda station in County Mayo; if and when replacement personnel will be provided to satisfy the concerns of local residents; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraResponsibility for the allocation of all personnel within the Force rests with the Garda Commissioner, in consultation with his senior management team. In this regard, the Deputy should be aware that over 200 students are due to be attested as Gardaí during 2010. Resource levels are constantly monitored, in conjunction with crime trends and other demands made on An Garda Síochána and the situation is kept under continuing review.
