220 Deputy Willie Penrose asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if a person (details supplied) in County Kildare has had their application for a work permit to remain in the State renewed; if steps will be taken to expedite same. [11845/10]
Amharc ar fhreagraI am informed by officials in the Immigration Division of my Department that the person in question has been granted permission to remain in the State on Stamp 4 conditions for a one year period until 8 March 2011. Stamp 4 conditions entitle the person concerned to take up employment without the need for a work permit and to set up a business without the need for permission from the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform.
