639 Deputy Michael Creed asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government the position regarding the availability of finalised tender lists for machinery contracts with local authorities under the freedom of information legislation; if he will provide the lists for 2009; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Finalised tender lists relating to procurement procedures undertaken by local authorities are an administrative matter for the authorities themselves. Information of this nature should be requested directly from the relevant authority.
