657 Deputy Deirdre Clune asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government if schools and other educational establishments are exempt from planning development changes; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12950/10]
Amharc ar fhreagraClass 20B of the Planning and Development Regulations 2008 provides an exemption, following a grant of planning permission or outline planning permission for a permanent structure, for the use of a temporary school structure up to a maximum of 50% of the size, and up to same height, of the proposed permanent structure. This exemption is for a five year period only.
