Ceist:110 Deputy Noel Ahern asked the Minister for Health and Children the position regarding the processing of medical card applications in respect of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 9; if existing cards are still valid until the renewal process, including appeals, is completed; the reason applications are refused to persons on basic social welfare payments; if basic reasoning has been lost in the new system; and the further reason a renewal application from this person has been refused.
