Ceist:227 Deputy Joe McHugh asked the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will grant a derogation or some quota to boats under 15 metres in length for spurdog fishing in 2010; his views on whether the cancellation of spurdog quota for 2010 is putting a small but important group of fishermen out of business; his further views on whether that small boats do not seriously affect fish stocks; if he will respond with a constructive accommodation; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
