406 Deputy Ruairí Quinn asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Education and Science, further to Parliamentary Question No. 919 of 20 April 2010, if she will publish the education (patronage) Bill in draft form in view of the fact that it has now been completed; and if she will make a statement on the matter. As the Deputy will be aware, Government approval is required for the publication of primary legislation. It is my intention to seek the necessary Government approval for the publication of legislation providing for VEC patronage at primary level very shortly.
