50 Deputy Róisín Shortall asked the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if his attention has been drawn to the precarious situation grain farmers are in as a result of the decision by a company (details supplied) to import from England. [16921/10]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe decision referred to by the Deputy is a private commercial one for the company concerned and one in which I have no role. In relation to their decision to use imported malt, I understand that the company continues to source 90 per cent of their malt requirement for their brewing operation in Ireland and that their commitment in this regard is unchanged.
