182 Deputy Lucinda Creighton asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of Council of the European Union’s meetings that she was entitled to attend in the past three years; the number of Council meetings she attended; the number of same that were attended by officials in her place; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The Employment, Social Policy, Health and Consumer Affairs (EPSCO) Council normally meets in formal session on two occasions during each Presidency period of six months. Health matters are discussed in detail at one of these formal Councils. The following table gives the information requested by the Deputy.
