Durkan asked the Minister for Health and Children if she has received correspondence from a person (details supplied) in County Kildare regarding their stay in the Adelaide and Meath Hospital, Tallaght, Dublin 24; her plans to address and respond to this matter; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraCorrespondence was received in my Department on 29 March from the person concerned. As this is a service issue, the matter was referred to the Health Service Executive (HSE) for direct reply on 31 March and the person concerned was also informed of this on 31 March. My Department is looking at the issues raised in this correspondence in the broader clinical governance context.
