96 Deputy Noel Ahern asked the Minister for Health and Children if she will examine the case of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 11 whose application for an over-70s medical card took ten months to process and who has had medical expenses of €1,817 during the seven months they would have been eligible for a card, having submitted same to the Health Service Executive; if she will arrange a refund; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
