411 Deputy Denis Naughten asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government the funding that will be available for voluntary housing projects in 2010; his plans to review this level of funding; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22764/10]
Amharc ar fhreagraMy Department's voluntary and co-operative housing programme is supported through two funding schemes, the Capital Assistance Scheme (CAS) and the Capital Loan and Subsidy Scheme (CLSS). In the case of the CAS, which provides capital funding to approved housing bodies for the provision of accommodation for people with specific categories of need including the homeless, older people and persons with an intellectual, physical or mental health disability, a total of €145 million is being provided for 2010. In the case of the CLSS, which provides funding for family-type accommodation, the provision for 2010 is €140 million.
