160 Deputy John McGuinness asked the Minister for Social Protection if consideration will be given to persons who have had their houses repossessed in terms of their qualification for rent supplement; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [27126/10]
Amharc ar fhreagraAll persons who have a housing need can apply for an assessment of eligibility for social housing support by the local housing authority. When the person has been assessed as being eligible for and in need of social housing support, the person can be considered for rent supplement.
