1623 Deputy Joan Burton asked the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will provide details of the gross amounts of payments made without deduction of tax; and where tax should have been deducted at 35% in each of the years 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006. [31703/10]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe gross amounts of payments made across the relevant areas are set out below. This covers a period when my Department did not consider it appropriate to apply Relevant Contracts Tax procedures to certain payments associated with animal disease eradication schemes. Following on from the determination made by the Revenue Commissioners on this matter, Relevant Contracts Tax was applied to these areas with immediate effect, from mid 2006 onwards.
