183 Deputy Leo Varadkar asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Education and Skills in respect of any State owned enterprise under the aegis of her Department, when it received the most recent annual report of that company; the date on which the Department approved the annual report; and to provide the same information for the previous financial year. Amharc ar fhreagraMy Department has a number of non commercial agencies under its aegis, none of which are categorised as state owned enterprises, i.e. established as a legal entity (company) by government to operate in commercial affairs.
With respect to these non-commercial bodies under the aegis of my Department I can confirm that to date seven bodies have submitted 2009 annual reports to my Department.
The relevant line sections in my Department are actively liaising with the remainder of the bodies who are required to provide relevant documentation relating to corporate governance, including annual reports in respect of 2009.
