130 Deputy John McGuinness asked the Minister for Social Protection if an application for rent allowance now under appeal will be expedited in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny. [45757/10]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe Health Service Executive (HSE) has advised that the person concerned has been refused rent supplement as he has alternative accommodation available to him, he does not have a housing need and he does not meet the habitual residence condition. The HSE has further advised that the person concerned has appealed the decision to the HSE Appeals Office and it will contact the person concerned when a decision has been made.
