498 Deputy Pat Rabbitte asked the Minister for Justice and Law Reform in relation to the Garda Síochána Training and Development Review Group Report 2009, his plans to implement new guidelines in relation to the recruitment of gardaí with specific reference to the 140 CAO points requirement; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am reviewing the current entry requirements into An Garda Síochána in consultation with the Commissioner. This review will of course take into account the recommendations of the Report referred to by the Deputy.
