288 Deputy Ruairí Quinn asked the Minister for Justice and Law Reform if he will confirm receipt of a letter sent by registered post on 2 September 2010 from a person (details supplied); if he will confirm that he has personally read the letter; his plans to respond to the questions raised therein; if a reply will issue before 31 January 2011; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Correspondence from the person in question was originally received by e-mail on 1 September 2010. A hard copy of the correspondence was also received in the Department by registered post on 6 September 2010. The Private Secretary to the Minister replied to the correspondence on his behalf on 16 September 2010.
