290 Deputy Ciarán Lynch asked the Minister for Justice and Equality his plans to abolish upward-only rent reviews where the State is the landlord; if legislation will be required in this instance; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7409/11]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe Programme for Government, which indicates that legislation will be introduced to end upward-only rent reviews for existing leases, does not distinguish between lease types. I am in consultation with the Attorney General with a view to progressing this matter as expeditiously as possible.
