112 Deputy Paschal Donohoe asked the Minister for Justice and Equality his plans to implement the findings of the 2009 An Garda Síochána training and development review group and in particular changes to the entry requirements where 140 CAO points are required; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am reviewing the current entry requirements into An Garda Síochána in consultation with the Commissioner. This review will of course take into account the recommendations of the Report referred to by the Deputy, including the recommendations on educational qualifications.
