528 Deputy John O’Mahony asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of persons awaiting outpatient appointments at Mayo General Hospital; the departments at which they are waiting to be seen; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [11847/11]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe management of hospital services generally, including outpatient waiting lists, is a matter for the Health Service Executive and the individual hospitals concerned. Therefore, the Executive is the appropriate body to consider the particular case raised by the Deputy. My Department has requested the Parliamentary Affairs Division of the Executive to arrange to have the case investigated and to reply directly to the Deputy.
