Durkan asked the Minister for Finance the extent to which any outstanding tax issues in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Kildare have been finalised to the satisfaction of Revenue with particular reference to his need to obtain employment without any ongoing tax issues; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraI have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that the last return of income submitted was for the year 2005 and the last VAT return submitted was for the period November/December 2006. The person concerned should submit all outstanding returns in order for his tax affairs to be up to date. In this respect he may contact Ms Bernie Brophy, Kildare Revenue District, The Plaza, Tallaght, Dublin 24.
