Ceist:60 Deputy Ciara Conway asked the Minister for Finance the position regarding a request for an extension of the retirement age by one year from a public service worker (details supplied) in County Waterford, under the Public Service Superannuation (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2004, in view of the date on which they entered the public service and the positive effect that this extension would have on the person’s pension entitlements; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
